The fourteenth 'Dharam S. Hinduja All India Essay Writing Competition for Lecturers' was organized by the Literary &
Debating Society in March-April 2022. A total of seven entries that were received were judged by a distinguished panel of

Judges comprising of :
Dr. Chandra Iyer, noted Educationist, Author and Faculty at the Department of Management Studies, Birla College, Kalyan.
Mr. Manoj Bhatia, a Management Expert & Vice President (Asia Head, Non-IT) at Morgan Stanley. He is a Corporate Trainer
and a Visiting Faculty at various Management Institutes in Mumbai.

Mr. Sanjay Shriram Kalekar, a Writer and Faculty at the Department of English, A.E. Kalsekar Degree College, Thane.

Based on the average of marks awarded by the Judges, the winners of the competition and the subjects of their entries were
as follows:

1st Prize : Mrs. Juliet Y. K., Associate Professor at Bal Bharati's MJP College of Commerce, Mumbai, on the subject, 'Will
Artificial Intelligence Create an Employment Crisis?'
2nd Prize : Dr. Munmy C. Baruah, Professor at Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai on the subject,
'The Credibility and Impact of Media Trials.’

The enhancements in the College Library included the following:

• KOHA software.
• E-Library Services for faculty and students.

• Remot-Log software subscription to enable

off-campus access .
• J Gate and IBI Databases access and download facilities for over a lakh

articles and thesis for Research Scholars.

• Plagiarism software for Ph.D. students to check their thesis.
