Development Ofcer to brief rst-year students on 'The
Importance of Insurance and an Overview of Life Insurance
Corporation (LIC)'. (July 31, 2019)

· A Seminar on 'Digital Education' was organized for all three
classes of BBI wherein students were made aware about
using digital channels for marketing of banking and
insurance products. The Resource Person for the session
was Mr. Mayank Shah from Kaizen Multimedia. (August 16,

· Mr. Aman Chawla, promoter of Omlet Company addressed
First and Second Year students of BBI on 'Finance and
Wealth Management'. (December 10, 2019)

Field Visits

· FYBBI students along with faculty members of the
Department visited the RBI Monetary Museum. (February
01, 2020)
· FYBBI students visited the Consumer Court at Bandra and
had an interaction with the Judges of the Court to have a

better understanding about its working and consumer
grievance redressal mechanisms. (February 24, 2020)
· Faculty members and students visited the Bombay Stock
Exchange (BSE) where students interacted with BSE ofcials
and were informed about the history of BSE and
contemporary developments especially in the light of
online trading enabled by digital platforms. (March 04,

2020)
· Students of the Department visited HDFC Bank, Charni
Road branch and had an interaction with the Branch
Manager of the Bank. (March 06, 2020)
