Digital Master Class
A Digital Master Class on 'Investing in Turbulent Times' was
organised using an online learning platform. Students
were apprised about how to get the most out of a prime
investor during turbulent times; mutual fund
recommendations; deposit recommendations; a good
time to invest in SIP and the importance of investment in
turbulent times. (April 10, 2020)
National Faculty Development Programme on Social Entrepreneurship
A national-level Faculty Development Programme was conducted to create awareness about
social entrepreneurship. The event was a gratifying success with 2500 registrations and 9200
YouTube and Facebook viewers. Participants learnt about various avenues under social
entrepreneurship from reputed speakers such as Mr. Uday Wankawala, CEO, Atal Incubation
Centre, Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhani; Professor Satyajit Majumdar and Dr. Archana Singh
from the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, School of Management and Labour Studies, Tata
Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. (May 28, 2020).
Industrial Visit
Students and faculty of the Department went for an
Industrial Visit to SPNG Group's Kashi Vishwanath
Textile Mills Private Limited, Kashipur, Uttarakhand.
The group visited the factory premises and
observed the various textile making processes and
procedures such as weaving, knitting, processing
home textiles, ready-made garments and polyester

Students' Achievements
· Late Owaiz Lulania from TYBMS won a 'Half Marathon Completion - 24kms' in Mumbai.
· The BMS contingent secured the Third Position at the 'Youth Parliament and Model United
Nations (MUN) Event' held at Jai Hind College.
· Montu Jain and Bhavesh Jain from TYBMS secured the First Position in 'Colosseum' at the
Finvestor event organised by BFM Department of the College.
· Naveen Mali from TYBMS was adjudged as the 'Shining Star of the Department'.
