Orientation
An Orientation Programme was organized for the rst year students of the B. Com.
(Accounting & Finance) course wherein students were introduced to the academic programme
and given an overview about the Course, Examination Pattern, Guest Lectures, Achievements
of past students Placements and Career Opportunities available in the elds of accounting and

Guest Lectures
· A Guest Lecture on 'Major Test for Management Aspirants' was conducted by Mr. Viral
Raval, IMS Expert and ETS (GREs Conducting Body) Ofcial. The session covered
understanding of domestic and global options available, factors that make a good prole
for a Global Admit and Application Process. He also shared information about the
weightage of each component of the application. (July 24, 2019)
Dr. Vanita Joshi, Senior Faculty in Management from Indian Business School addressed
students on 'Soft Skills for a Successful Career'. (July 24, 2019).
· Mr. Sanjay Kataria, a Chartered Accountant and Visiting Faculty at Indian Business School
delivered a Guest Lecture on 'Ethics in the New Age of Accounting and Finance World'
wherein he emphasized on the increased importance of ethics in the eld of accounting in
the digital age. (September 26, 2019)
· A Lecture on 'Fundamentals of Stock Exchange' was engaged by Mr. Hemal Shah, Director
CHL Stockconcepts Pvt. Ltd. (January 30, 2020)
