Rotaract Club

Hinduja Carnival (Club Service) [January 13 – 23, 2020]
Hinduja Carnival in its 5th year was organized successfully for 11 continuous days, with 20+ back
to back events witnessed by an enthralled audience of 500+. Directors, Members and Core Team
Members came together with a will to organize Community Service, International Service, Sports,
Professional Development and other events on a mega scale.
A host of celebrities including Karan Maru (TikTok Fame), Piyush Sharma (SplitsVilla Star), Janabi
Das (Indian Idol 11 Contestant) and Richa Chaturvedi (Miss Universe India 2016 Top 10
Contestant) were among those invited to judge talent rounds such as DJ war, Singing, Dancing,
Mr. & Ms. Carnival and a Fashion Show. The closing ceremony of the Carnival was conducted at
the auditorium of St. Teresa School.
International Youth Exchange (International Service) [February 28 – March 07, 2020]
The Rotaract Club of Hinduja College for the very rst time successfully conducted an International
Youth Exchange Program to Nepal for 7 Days. 3 Members of RCHC got an opportunity to visit
Nepal. They were hosted by the Rotaract Club of Budhanilkanta, Nepal and got to experience and
understand the culture and traditions of Nepal.
Justice League (Community Service) [13th September.2019]
RCHC in association with Shiv Shakti Foundation & supported by the Rotary Club of Bombay
Central initiated the event, with the aim of spreading awareness about the equal status of
transgenders. A Personality Contest and Talent Rounds were organized for 07 participating
transgenders who were judged by television celebrities, Ms. Shruti Bapna and Miss Eisha Chopra.
The event was a unique initiative and was covered in the newspaper Mumbai HulChal. The Chief
Editor of the newspaper, Mr. Dilshad Khan attended the event.
Yeh Shaam Mastani (Partners-in-Service) [November 11, 2019]
This was a musical evening arranged for the elderly members of 'Anandyaan' by the Rotaractors of
RCHC. Various retro performances and activities were enjoyed by the senior citizens in the
company of youngsters.
Mr. X (Entrepreneurship Development) [December 09 – 29, 2019]
The main aim of the event was to give practical experience to students in a manner that they can
launch their own start-ups, invest capital and sell products. Students were divided into teams and
each team was given a capital of Rs.500/- for 21 days to launch their start-up. Students ended up
investing the capital in various activities and gained prot out of it in 21 days. This activity
enhanced their practical understanding of entrepreneurship.
The Making of Leaders (Human Resource Development) [October - December 2019]
This initiative was intended to provide members of the RCHC with opportunities to plan, execute
and lead activities by becoming a part of the Organizing Committee of an event.
