Women's Week Celebrations (February 08 – 11 & 13, 2020)
The WDC of the College dedicated an entire week to women and womanhood.in an
endeavour to create awareness and to promote the general well-being of female students and
female faculty of the College. The following events and competitions were conducted during

the course of the week:
Day 1 (February 08, 2020)
Workshop on Gender Sensitization & Cyber Security

A workshop on 'Gender Sensitization and Cyber Security' was organized on February 08,
2020. Ms. Vibha Singh, a recognized Professor, Journalist and Social Worker gave an
overview and valuable insights into the types of cybercrimes against students and the need and
methods to control them. She also spoke about gaming and social media as social ills that can
have grave effects on the mental health and education of young students. The procedure and

documents required to le a complaint against cyber-crime and the legal redressal systems
were other subjects taken up by her.
Ms. Nitasha Naik, Researcher and Creative Content Writer for Behavioural Change
Communication for the social sector at CSR HUB India and Women Against Cyber Abuse
Foundation also addressed the gathering on morphing and body shaming.

A Power Point Presentation Competition was the other event organized on Day 01.

Day 3 (February 12, 2020)

Newspaper Dressing, T-Shirt Painting, Hair Styling and Fruit & Vegetable Carving
