Parents Teachers Association (PTA)

                                               Convener: Dr. Susan Alex


      The PTA meeting held on December 21, 2019 commenced with
      a  formal  introduction  of  the  faculty  by  the  Convener  and  a
      conrmation of the PTA accounts. This was followed by Prof.
      Mithu Biswas giving information about the Book Bank scheme
      and  the  nancial  support  extended  to  needy  students  by  the
      College  under the aegis of the PTA.

      Vice-Principal Prof. Chandrakala Joshi then delivered a formal
      address underlining the importance of the PTA for the well-being
      of the students. She encouraged parents to motivate their wards
      to attend lectures regularly and to take part in various college activities, events and programmes to
      become better and more productive individuals. She emphasized that Corporate Houses absorb
      diligent students and parents can help their wards to identify internship and placement opportunities
      and also provide them with entrepreneurship guidance. She also said that the College is scheduled to
      go in for redevelopment in the near future.

      Prof. Durgesh Kumar Dubey then called for the nomination of parents to the PTA Committee. He even
      invited suggestions from parents for the improvement of the College.
      The PTA Committee had selected the top ten students from SY and FY classes on the basis of the
      Semester Exam results. (Sem. III and Sem. I) respectively and presented them with a token along with
      their mark-sheets. This gesture was much appreciated by the parents present on the occasion.

      The meeting concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Durgesh Kumar Dubey.

                                                  Placement Cell

                                 Conveners: Dr. Khyati Vora & Dr. Rashmi Maurya

      The Cell in association with TREMOR – an academic conclave of the BMS Department of the College
      organized 'JOB FAIR' on January 24, 2020. More than 15 renowned companies such as Aditya Birla
      Health Insurance, Motilal Oswal, Kotak Life Insurance, Indusind Bank, Rustomji and others extended
      support and offered internship opportunities to about 300 job aspirants. Team TREMOR and the
      Placement Cell also organized Aptitude Tests, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews to facilitate
      students to nd a placement in a reputed organization.
