Rotaract Club

The Rotaract Club of Hinduja College (RCHC) is a Committee of potential social workers and
leaders who come together to learn, serve and achieve, 365 days, 24*7. Since the past 4
years, RCHC is being ranked among the top 10 Rotaract Clubs among the 110 potential clubs

in Mumbai in Rotaract District 3141. In the year 2019-20, the Club worked towards the all-
round development of students by organizing a range of activities in the elds of social work;
sports; the celebration of international days; the development of professional, entrepreneurial
and marketing skills; promotional and digital activities etc. Activities that merit an especial
report are the following:
Ek Kadam Swachata Ki Or (Community Service) [July, 2019 to February, 2020]

In this initiative, government schools of Mumbai were covered through monthly visits and
young students were given training and instruction in basic hygiene as a matter of routine and
its importance. Recycled soaps provided by 'Sundar India', an NGO were also distributed in 08
government schools. Over 500 students were beneciaries of the initiative.

Persona (Professional Development) [August 08, 2019]
This event was aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of students on subjects related to
Marketing, Personality Development & Leadership. 3 eminent Corporate Speakers conducted
3 different sessions in which they counseled and guided students on matters relevant to both

the academic, as well as the corporate world.
