A Book Exhibition cum Sale was organized by
the Library on August 26 -27, 2019 in which
seven reputed publishers displayed their
collection. These included A4 Apple Books,
Chandrakant Book, Rajhans Prakashan,
Maharashtra Book Center, Taxmann Publication
Pvt.Ltd, Venus Book and Vakratund Book House.
A wide variety of books of academic and
general interest were laid out for review and
purchase by both faculty and students.

Department of Life long Learning & Extension (DLLE)

Conveners: Dr. Hemant Bhatti & Prof. Manoj Patil

The activities of the Committee for the academic year began with an Enrolment Drive in which
214 students registered. This was followed by 'International Yoga Day' celebrations in the
College Auditorium on June 21, 2019. In the following month, on July 26, 2019 the
Committee celebrated 'Vijay Diwas' to mark India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil war of
1999. 'Lakshya' a Bollywood lm about war, both within and at the border was screened and
sweets were distributed to mark the occasion.

On January 20, 2020 DLLE volunteers
of the College participated in various
events at 'Udaan', the annual DLLE
Festival held at Somaiya College,

Mumbai.
