Principal’s Message

We are living in times where the pace of events is rapid; competition is aggressive and
challenges are daunting. There is a knowledge explosion and a skill boom where there is always
more to know and learn.
To meet the demands of the times Hinduja College endeavours to provide its students with an
all-inclusive, enriching experience wherein they excel in academics and outshine in co-
curricular and extra-curricular activities. In this direction it encourages the participation of
students in cultural and sporting activities, both at the intra and inter-college level and also has
active NSS, NCC and DLLE units to nurture a social consciousness and sense of patriotism
among students.
The pandemic and resultant lockdown did not in any way deter our endeavour, in fact our
resolve to excel was strengthened since we believe that difficulties are intended to make us
better, not bitter. Teaching, evaluation, seminars, talent shows et al were conducted with fair
efficiency in an online and sometimes hybrid mode so that students did not miss out on any
experience of college life. Community Service Projects undertaken by the NSS Units during the
period deserve an especial mention. 'Mission Satisfaction' begun by the NSS Units of the
College with the primary objective of alerting those in need about the availability of hospital
beds, blood and plasma units, ambulances, oxygen cylinders, and other resources and
'Operation Jeevan' which helped to arrange blood for needy patients from a database compiled
over the period of time were distinctly noble activities that did the College proud.
Another College activity that has been increasing in momentum and provides us with
information that certifies our efforts is that of the Alumni Association. We are now more aware
about the achievements of those who passed out from our portals, many among whom have
even made their mark at the national and international level.
Our endeavours and achievements make us feel gratified, but not content, because we believe
that the road to excellence is always under construction. We shall continue to strive with
sincerity and commitment to scale greater heights and make our mark as an institution par
excellence.
