• Muskurahat (December 07 -12, 2022)
A clothes and blankets Donation Drive was organized followed by the distribution of the
collection at four locations - Ananta Khushiyaan Ashram, Thane on December 21, 2022; in
adopted areas of Lower Parel and Charni Road on December 23, 2022 and at Prabhadevi near
KEM and Tata Hospitals on December 24, 2022.
• Falak (December 17 & 20 - 21 2022)
A Toy Collection Drive was organized and usable toys were donated to children in the Ananta Khushiyaan Ashram, Thane.
• NOOR' – Creating Awareness about Female Healthcare (January 30 -31, 2023)
A Sanitary Pad Collection Drive was organized in which volunteers encouraged and persuaded people to donate sanitary napkins
which were later distributed among unprivileged girls in the adopted areas.
• Love towards the Speechless (March 2023)
In this unique activity volunteers fed stray birds and animals and uploaded photos on their
social media accounts to spread awareness and motivate others to do the same.
• Seed Ball Making (March 09, 2023)
Volunteers made seed balls by using different seeds, red soil, coco peat and vermi compost.
This creative and impactful event was much appreciated by the District Co-ordinator Dr. Kranti
Ukey.
• Blood Donation Drives
In the Academic Year 2022-2023, the College NSS Units organized 09 Blood Donation Drives at
various locations - the College premises; CSMT and Dadar Railway Stations in collaboration
with Nair Hospital; Abdullah Fazalbhoy Rakta Kendra and Sion Hospital.
A total of 940 donors donated blood which can be used to save the lives of 2820 human live. The
donors were provided with a Donor Card, a haemoglobin check-up and a Certificate of
Appreciation.
• Beach Clean-up
In a sincere endeavor to conserve marine life, coastal animals and even human beings the NSS
Unit of the College organized 17 Beach Clean-up Drives during the course of the Academic
Year at Girgaon Chowpatty, Dadar and others locations in the proximity of the College.
• Seven-day NSS Residential Camp (February 05 -11, 2023)
A hundred volunteers participated in the 07 Day NSS Residential Camp at the BAIF
Foundation, Jawahar, Palghar District. Different activities such as Check Dam Building, Soil
Conservation, Teaching Street Plays, Seminars and Movie Screenings were actively performed
and participated in by the volunteers.The Residential Camp gave an opportunity to the young
volunteers to contribute towards the betterment of the Jawahar District under guidance received
from Hinduja Foundation.
