In a Parallel Universe… the answers we are all seeking
Khushboo Kejriwal (FYBFM)
There's this void in me that seeks for inexplicable answers.
How it's an intrinsic temperament in humans to feign affection;
How in every endeavour we strive to achieve perfection.
How we are nurtured to be under an obligation to always form a subtle impression,
How it's oxygen for us to seek attention.
Inuencers from all across copious realms try to spread the cognizance about mental health;
Yet consternation and trepidation form the foothold of everyconspicuous stealth.
Isn't everything we do conspired toward the procurement of a plethora of a little more wealth?
Just a little more wealth.
There's this visage of mine wanting to be unveiled.
Why has this naivety shadowing our rotund faces manipulated us into believing that only the
strong and condescending survive, while the timid are doomed to succumb to the 'battle of
life?!'
At the end of the day, none of us are as strong as we pretend to be, are we?
There's this part of me, wanting to step out of my comfort zone, always wanting to pursue the
fantasies that fuel this inextinguishable re within.
I presume we're all in search of that utopian place that matches with our soul's rhythm?!
I hope that someday without having to conform to societal norms,
We'll nd that place, and it'll feel safe, where we will be in no race,
Because there will be nothing to chase.
Maybe we'll be content in our own homologous space,
And be no longer daunted to face
Our untamed fears that have been fashioned on no concrete base.
Maybe one day it won't be that big a case,
If only preparation didn't meet luck to make an ace.
There's this old school project rooting inside me, deluding me into believing that everything in
life has a 'happy ending.'
When we say meant to be, we assume forever. But maybe it isn't supposed to last forever.
Maybe it's just someone who is in your life to teach you something.
Maybe the forever is not the person,
But what we gain from them.
We're all victims of nostalgic tender memories, selshly wanting to write down the details of
everything to make us feel safe.
