                                                       Orientation

       An Orientation Programme was organised for FYBAMMC students to give them an overview
       about  the  new  course  structure;  the  newly  introduced  Choice-Based  Credit  System;
       examination pattern and attendance rules. Students were also informed about the various
       avenues offered by the Department and the College in the form of Guest Lectures, Workshops,
       Film Screenings, Extra-Curricular Activities and Placement Opportunities. (July 07, 2019)




                                  Film Screening

       • The students and faculty of the Department went for a lm
          screening of the hard-hitting socio-political thriller 'Article
          15' to sensitise students about Constitutional Rights and the
          impediments to these rights. (July 11, 2019)
       • The Hinduja College Film Society screened the 2011 fantasy
          comedy-drama lm 'Midnight in Paris'. The screening was
          followed  by  a  question-answer  session  and  a  discussion

          about the various elements of the lm. (August 10, 2019)





                                                                          Boot Camp

                                            A Boot Camp was held for TYBMM (Advertising) students at
                                            ISME School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Mumbai
                                            on 'Social Media and Brand Building' where students learnt
                                            how social media can be used effectively for self-branding
                                            and for branding of organisations. (August 09, 2019)






                                                Special Guest Lecture
      The  Department  organized  a  Special  Guest  Lecture  on  'International  Relations:  A
      Contemporary Perspective' by Dr. Kishore Mandhyan, former Political Director at the United
      Nations.  A  speaker  of  international  repute,  he  has  taught  International  Relations  and
      Comparative Politics at Boston College, Tufts and Harvard Universities. In his address, Dr.

      Mandhyan  discussed  important  trends  –  social,  economic,  political  and  cultural  in
      contemporary international relations. (August 28, 2019)
