Bachelor in Financial Markets (BFM)

· A Group Discussion, 'Chit Uthao Financial Reporter Ban Jao' based on Financial Reporting
& Team Building was conducted to nurture budding Financial Journalists among BFM
students. (June 29, 2019)
· Fintegic Club of BFM undertook a Financial Literacy Campaign for Hinduja College
students to create awareness about the requirements of nancial planning and
investment.(July 29- 30, 2019)

· An Intra-College Educational Event – 'Finvestor', was organize for the students of the
College to impart nancial literacy and skill development in the nancial arena.
(September 23 – 24, 2019)
· An Alumni Meet was arranged, bringing together Alumni from the 2010-11 batch (the rst
batch of the Programme) up to the 2018-19 batch to foster a sense of camaraderie and to
build a connection with the alma mater. (February 02, 2020)

· The BFM Department held a mock, Model United Nations for BFM students. The
participants posed as delegates of various countries and discussed international economic
issues to arrive at a sustainable solution to overcome economic issues. ( February 21,
2020)
· Finvestor '2020 was organized to provide a platform to budding entrepreneurs with to
compete and explore innovative ideas amongst themselves. 121 students from 35 colleges

across Mumbai took part in the event. (March 04, 2020)
Students' Achievements
· Rishav Mohta won the Second Prize at the National Inter-Collegiate Research Paper
Presentation at KES Shroff College; the Second Prize at the Inter- Collegiate Research Paper
Presentation at Thakur College of Science and Commerce and was also adjudged as the
'Best Fellow at the International Fellowship of YES BANK'.

· Kevin Shah of TYBFM was the University of Mumbai Topper for the academic year 2019-
20. He also completed the Certied Financial Planner (CFP) course successfully along with
the BFM course.
· Ayush Sharma of TYBFM was the University of Mumbai, Second Ranker for the Academic
year 2019- 20.

· Vidhi Jain of TYBFM was the University of Mumbai Third Ranker for the Academic year
2019- 20.
· BFM students won the Second Position at the Finstreet Intercollegiate Fest hosted by Thakur
College of Science and Commerce. It was the fourth consecutive year that BFM students
won at the Finstreet Intercollegiate Fest.
