TEDx Hinduja College

       TEDxHinduja College is a legacy that the students of K .P. B. Hinduja College of Commerce have
       proudly been associated with since 2014. A platform that is global in its reach, yet provides a fora to
       local  pioneers  too,  to  share  their  ideas  among  their  brethren.  This  initiative  is  enthusiastically
       shouldered by students of the TEDx Committee which is formed annually.

        TEDxHinduja College 2020 saw a team of 210 members, each with their own unique set of skills led
       by their Licensee, Zainab Kader, a TYBMM (Journalism) student. The team organized multiple events
       throughout the year creating an impact on the students and life around them.

                                       Orientation Ceremony (January 2020)

       An Orientation Ceremony was conducted for the induction of volunteers to familiarize them with
       TEDxHinduja College and to formally introduce the Teams and Departments to one another. TED
       videos were viewed by the audience, after which Principal Dr. Minu Madlani and Convener Dr.
       Shradha Jain delivered inaugural addresses.

                                            CSR Initiatives (February 2020)

       A campaign was held from February 06- 20, where the Team organized Power Yoga sessions along
       with seminars on 'Good Touch and Bad Touch' in Government-funded schools in and around Charni
       Road and Mumbai Central such as Gilder Lane High School, St. Sebastian School, Barretto School
       and Union High School. The Power Yoga sessions were led by the TEDx team under the guidance of a
       trained Yoga practitioner for students of standards VI to X. The seminars were conducted by four
       Psychologists arranged for by the Team. The Psychologists addressed students of standards IV to VIII
       on 'Understanding Touch – Good and Bad'. Pictures and diagrams were used to make the seminars
       more lucid.
