Marathi Vangmay Mandal

                     Conveners: Prof Manoj Patil (Aided Section) & Dr. Shital Mody (SFC)


       The activities of the Marathi Vangmay Mandal in the academic year 2019-2020 commenced with a
       'Maha Aarti'of Lord Ganesh and a Cultural Programme in which 'PRARAMBH 20' was introduced. On
       the occasion, members of the Mandal distributed 'Ganesh Aarti Prasad'.

                               'Prarambh '20 – Parv Tisre' (January – February 2020)

       As in the past two academic years, Marathi Vangmay Mandal organized 'Prarambh – Parv Tisre', its
       Inter-Collegiate Festival at the District Level. The theme of the Festival was 'Marathi Paul Padhte
       Pudhe'. The Festival was organized from January 30 - February 01, 2020.

       Kirti M. Doongursee College was adjudged the 'Best Performing College' and the 'Second Best
       Performing College' Award was bagged by M. L. Dahanukar College of Commerce.

                                      'Prarambh '20 – CL Meet (January 2020)
       The College Representatives Meet for 'Prarambh '20 was held on January13, 2020. The event was
       graced by Mr. Arjun Meghe, Founder and President of 'Insaniyat Foundation' Marathi Rappers from
       Kolhapur were invited to launch their song at the CL Meet. Around 15 colleges participated in the CL-
       Meet. The Best CL Award was won by K.C. College.



















                                            PRARAMBH '20 – Inauguration

       The inauguration of   'Prarambh '20 was graced by Mr. Sunny Sanap  (President – 'Sangharsh' Youth
       Foundation). During the inauguration the famous 'Puneri Dhol' (Kedarnath)   and Maharashtra's
       traditional sport ‘Mallakhamb’ were showcased by Ruturaj Sports Academy. The Festival which was
       dedicated  towards  conserving  and  promoting  the  culture  of  Maharashtra  covered  a  range  of
       activities and programmes including Lavani, Instrumental Music, Folk Art, Literary Events, Cultural
       Events and Fine Arts.

       'Prarambh '20 was powered by Insaniyat Foundation, co-powered by LIC, associated with BPCL with
       J.K. Shah Classes as the Education Partner. It was sponsored by Maa Ka Khana, Bedekar, Waman
       Hari Pethe, Wearhouse Wolves, Aura Perfumes, Fukrey Café, Priti Printers, Bindass Marathi, Mumba
       Amrutlya, Ruturaj Sports Academy, Smaash, Be Right Back, Sweet Dreams, Universal Pharmacy,
       Dessert Corner, Kalpana Fast Food and Rangeesh.
