Cultural Committee (Junior College)

Convener: Ms. Shraddha Mungekar

Collaborating with the English Association, Hindi Sahitya Mandal & Marathi Vangmay Mandal, the
Cultural Committee conducted several literary and cultural events during the course of the academic
year.

Friendship Day was celebrated in the 2nd week of August 2019 with fun activities such as T-Shirt
Painting and Music Whispers.

Teachers' Day was celebrated on September 05, 2019 with Cake Cutting, 'Antakshari' and a Skit
Performance by students. Non-teaching staff members were also invited to be part of the celebration.

Talent Parade was hosted on September 10, 2019. Students took active part in this contest and
showcased their talent in Singing, Dancing, Mimicry and Instrumental Music. Ms. Rajanika Ganguli
Mukherjee and Ms. Basundhara Banerjee were Judges for the Talent Parade.

Students' Week was celebrated in the 2nd week of December 2019. During this week, the Committee
conducted a series of activities such as Fireless Cuisine and a Personality Contest on December 10.
Fireless Cuisine was judged by faculty members Ms. Swati Sawant, Ms. Bharati Kasar and Mr Uttam
Bhagat. This contest was open for participation for students, faculty and non-teaching staff members.
The winning chefs in this competition were the following;

1st Prize : Mrs Archana Anchalwar

2 nd Prize : Ms Pallavi Desai

3 rd Prize : Ms Shivani Mehta
