When Love Heals The Earth

When the cold wind blows Hello, I am Mother Earth
And you think time has frozen Made of water and land
When you feel everything is tearing apart Filled with soil
And there is a shiver in your heart Covered with trees and stones
There are tears in your eyes
Surrounded by air
And fear within
I am the Mother of all life on Earth.
When you look around
And find yourself alone
It is terrifying and terrible.
The human race is so unkind
I have been through such pain
My covering is being stripped
It is terrifying and terrible.
My entrails are being dug out
I am covered with plastic
Quite unexpectedly then
I am hurt and even angry
I fell in love with my inner self.
I found my best friend While I strive to sustain you,
Experienced a comfort you want to destroy me?

Found a support
And, my life transformed from barren to beautiful. You are testing my patience
My tears dried up And exploiting my love
The fear of loneliness faded Stop! I plead
The smile returned to my lips Only if you let me be
And a sparkle lit up my eyes Can you be.
As I learned and grew to love myself even more
It was a truth that I never knew
It was like a dream come true

I had befriended my inner soul
And once again become whole.
