• Cyber Raksha with Mumbai Police: Safeguarding the Digital Realm (November 18,
2022)
The Rotaract Club of Hinduja College's Team Digital Communication organized 'Cyber
Raksha with Mumbai Police', an event aimed at educating youth about cybercrimes and
prevention methods. The event began with the introduction of Sub-inspector Deepak
Kandekar, who discussed various cybercrimes and suggested preventive measures. A PDF
on the subject and real-life cases were shared with the attendees for better understanding.
• HINDUJA RYLA: Nurturing Leadership and Personal Growth (January 19-21, 2023)
The Team Partners-In-Service of the Rotaract Club of Hinduja College and Rotary Club
of Bombay organized 'HINDUJA RYLA'23' a three-day Leadership Development
Program and Camping Experience. Day 01 started with registration, team formation
inspired by Indian Army themes, kayaking and a bonding bonfire night. Day 02 included
breakfast, swimming pool games and a leadership session with activities on leadership
styles, innovation and conflict resolution. An icebreaker 'Lemon and Spoon' game was
also organized. Day 03 involved breakfast, packing, and departure. An award ceremony
recognized the Best Group, Leader, Team Member, Rylarian Male and Rylarian Female.
• Helping Hand: Uniting in the Face of Adversity (March 19, 2023)
The Team Community Service of Rotaract Club of Hinduja College in collaboration with
the Vrikshit Foundation and Aakansha Foundation organized 'Helping Hand' to provide
support and assistance to those who lost their homes in a devastating recent fire in Malad.
The Club volunteers and the Foundations distributed 450 sleeping mats and donated 60 kg
of wheat grain from a central location to ensure equal distribution. Rtr. Aman Jain's tireless
and selfless efforts in this endeavor deserve special mention.
• H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Eat): Eliminating Hunger (March 05, 2023)
The Team Community Service of the Rotaract Club of Hinduja College organized,
'H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Eat)' in collaboration with Uphaar Group, an NGO that
works towards eliminating hunger. The volunteers formed groups and distributed
traditional Indian breakfast food packages to more than 200 people living in a slum near
Lower Parel railway station.
• Menstruators ~ Periods Beyond Gender (March 27, 2023)
The Rotaract Club of Hinduja College's Team Social Media conducted a
'Menstruators Periods Beyond Gender' campaign on Instagram. Over three days, they
aimed to educate the public about the broader perspective of menstruation. On the first
day they shared videos to assess the understanding of viewers beyond gender. On the
following days a post explaining 'Menstruators' and the genders that menstruate was
shared. The final day's post discussed challenges faced by menstruators beyond
traditional gender norms and suggested solutions such as gender-neutral facilities and
inclusive language. The campaign clarified that gender identity and biological sex are
not the same, and not all menstruators are women. The initiative aimed to normalize
periods beyond gender and foster an equitable society.
