Principal’s Messages Message

We are living in times when the pace of events is rapid; competition is aggressive and challenges
are daunting. There is a knowledge explosion and skill boom in which there is always more to
know and learn. To meet the demands of these dynamic times Hinduja College endeavours to
provide its students with an all-inclusive experience wherein they are given opportunities to
excel in academics and outshine in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, both at the
intra and inter-college level. The College also has active NSS, NCC and DLLE Units to nurture the
social consciousness and patriotic fervour of students and an Alumni Association which has
been growing in numbers and providing us with information that certifies our efforts. We now
know better and more about the achievements of those who have passed out from the portals of
Hinduja College, many among whom have even made their mark at the national and
international level.

A recent change that is motivating for Hinduja College is the Autonomous status recently
awarded to it. Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by discomfort,
but it must be embraced since “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most
intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." (Charles Darwin) Autonomy has broadened
our scope of academic operations and has given us the latitude to frame syllabi and introduce
new programmes to keep in step with contemporary times and we are resolved to make the best of
this opportunity.

Our efforts and achievements make us feel gratified, but not content, because we believe that the
road to excellence is always under construction. We are resolved to strive with sincerity and
commitment to scale greater heights and feel confident that with a supportive Management,
committed faculty and support staff, and students with exceptional potential we shall certainly
make our mark as an institution par excellence.
