Independence Day and Friendship Day Celebrations (August 10, 2022)
Six time-bound competitions organized by the Cultural Committee as part of the
celebrations received an overwhelming student from students. The awardees of the
competitions that were judged by faculty members Ms. Archana Anchalwar, Ms. Swati
Sawant, Mr. Tushar Mahajan and Ms. Divya Yogeshwar were the following:

Teachers’ Day Celebrations (September 05, 2022)
On Teachers’ Day, the Cultural Committee invited SYJC students to write a Text Message/
Poem/ Letter/ Card for their Teacher/Teachers and drop it in a ‘Message Drop Box’ placed in the
Staffroom. A variety of handmade letters and cards with emotional and touching messages
which were received were shared with the concerned teachers along with a handmade bouquet
made by student volunteers.

Navratri (Garba) Celebrations (October 01, 2022)
Garba Competitions were organized separately for students of the
FYJC and SYJC classes. Online pre- registration and Ethnic/ Indian
wear were mandatory for the event. SYJC participants were judged by
Faculty Members, Ms. Smita Menon and faculty members Ms. Alpa
Palan and Ms. Pooja Mehta. FYJC student participants were judged
by faculty members, Ms. Snehal Bhagare, Ms. Kinjal Dedhia and Ms.
Neha Gada. The awardees of this gay Dance Competition were the
following:
