        The noteworthy ac vi es conducted by the Alumni Associa on during the academic year included
        the following:

        Webinar on 'Communal Harmony'

        The Alumni Associa on of the College in collabora on with the College NSS Units, the Students'
        Council & Cultural Commi ee and the Public Concern for Government Trust (PCGT) organized a
        webinar on the occasion of Independence Day on the subject of 'Communal Harmony'.

        The Keynote Speaker for the event was Dr. R. K. Anand, Founder Trustee of PCGT and Former Medical
        Director of Jaslok Hospital. In his address, Dr. Anand gave guidance about how to create and maintain
        communal harmony and live with peace. He shared enlightening personal experiences, interacted
        with the virtual audience and responded to the queries of the par cipants. (August 15, 2021)

                                                                     Blood Dona on
                                The Alumni Associa on of the College in collabora on with the NSS Unit of K.P.B. Hinduja College of
                                Commerce and Nair Hospital organized a Blood Dona on Camp on August 27, 2021 from 10.00 a.m. to
                                05.00 p.m. in K.P.B. Hinduja College premises, as there had been a decline in the number of blood
                                donors and a shortage of blood in Mumbai a er the 2nd wave of COVID-19.
                                The Blood Dona on Camp was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Minu Madlani and Alumni Associa on
                                Conveners of both the Degree Aided and Self Finance Sec ons, as well as the Alumni Associa on
                                President, Mr. Janak Sanghvi. Alumni Associa on members and NSS volunteers ac vely persuaded
                                people in the vicinity of the College to par cipate in the virtuous endeavour. A total of seventeen units
                                of blood were collected.


                      Faculty Development Programme on Yoga, Self Grooming, Make-up Applica on & Hair Styling
         A Faculty Development Programme was organized by the IQAC and the Alumni Associa on of the College at Visawa Resort,
         Panvel where Ms. Prachi S Bhandari (Alumnus from BTM) and Ms. Yashvi Mehta (Alumnus from BMS) conducted a session on
         'Yoga for Stress Management' for their teachers. This was followed by a session on 'Self Grooming & Make-up Applica on'
         conducted by Ms. Mahima Mehta (Alumnus from BTM) and 'Self-Grooming and Hair Styling' by Ms. Tushita K Nagula. (March 16,

                                              Webinar on 'Taking 'You' Turn for Success’
         The Alumni Commi ee and the Parent Teachers' Associa on of K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce organized a virtual webinar
         on 'Taking 'You' Turn for Success' on Zoom Pla orm. The Guest Speaker at the webinar was Mrs. Vinitha Jayan who is an
         Empaneled Corporate Trainer for Mahatma Gandhi University Placement Training Cell, Ins tute of Chartered Accountants of
         India, Ins tute of Company Secretaries of India and an Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Cer fied Corporate Business
         Trainer.
         The webinar was organized to ins ll self-confidence and posi ve thinking among students. The speaker cited the importance of
         adop ng a posi ve approach and overcoming nega ve thoughts which become a hurdle to our progress. She cited a range of
         examples and interacted with the students. A total of 05 faculty members and 83 students and alumni of the College a ended the
         webinar. (March 15, 2022).
