Guest Lectures
Three sessions on 'Leadership and Data Analy cs' were conducted in
collabora on with Make-Intern and E-Cell of IIM, Calcu a in an online mode. The
sessions covered topics such as Leadership Essen als, Introduc on to Data
Analy cs and Tableau, Tableau Con nued, SQL and Python Basics. The Resource
Persons for the sessions were Mr. Arvind Navgire, an entrepreneur with over 12
years' experience in the areas of Concept Development, Thought Leadership,
Strategic Thinking, Branding and Personnel Management and Mr. Kushal Sharma
who runs a Digital Marke ng agency called Huphe with exper se in Digital
Marke ng, Entrepreneurship and E-Commerce. The sessions received a
gra fying response from students who in their feedback reiterated the
importance of such sessions to help them to make their transi on into the

Digital Master Class
A Digital Masterclass on 'Basics of Security Market' was organized in associa on
with the Securi es and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on the occasion of
'Investors Awareness Week'. The Resource Person for the Class was Mr. Santosh
Meena, Manager, SEBI. He discussed the fundamentals of the primary and
secondary markets and various investment methods. (November 27, 2021)
Guidance Lecture
The Department of Bachelor of Management Studies organized a Guest Lecture
on 'How to write Your Research Project”. Final year students from the three
specializa ons i.e. Finance, Human Resource and Marke ng a ended the
session. In their final year, TYBMS students have to write a disserta on and hence
this session provided necessary guidance to them for the finaliza on of tle of
their research, their topic, research objec ves and research methodology. The
speaker discussed various Case Studies and even suggested tles to the students.

Training Programme
The Department organized a ten-hour online Training Programme for students of
the Department. This progamme tled 'Kona-Kona Shiksha' was conducted in
associa on with the Na onal Ins tute of Securi es Market (NISM) under the
aegis of their CSR project with Kotak Securi es Ltd. Dr. Sarika Lohana, Senior
Consultant SEBI, MHRD Cer fied Trainer for Advanced Virtual Tools in Educa on,
Advisor G Ins tute and Consultancy, Mumbai was the Resource Person for the
Training Programme. (February 06-07, 2022)
'Tremor' - An Inter-collegiate Academic Conclave
'Tremor', the annual inter-collegiate academic conclave of the Department was
conducted in a hybrid mode in its fourth season as ‘Tremor – A Journey from
Trash to Treasure. Out of the six events organized, three events were conducted
in an online and three were conducted in an offline mode. The events were
conceptualized and designed by students and showcased their crea ve talent,
managerial acumen and organiza onal skills The theme of the event was 'Throne
of Tremor' with an overarching theme of mystery con nents in the form of
various super natural creatures. (March 15 - 16, 2022)
