● Mr. Akshay Ridlan, Data Engineer at Piramal Finance conducted a Guest Lecture on 'Blockchain' for all students of the
Department. (October 11, 2021)

● A Prac cal Workshop on 'Power BI' was conducted for all students of the Programme by Mr. Lavish Arora, a Corporate Trainer.
He addressed students about the importance of analy cal tools for business. (January 29, 2022)
● A Career Guidance Session by Corporate Trainers, Mr. Sayed Osama and Mr. Lavish Arora was arranged for students of the
Second and Third year of the Programme. (February 26, 2022)

B.Sc. (IT) students organized 'Technolu on Series 2K21', an intra-collegiate event for students of B.Sc. (IT) and BCA students.
The event which included ac vi es such as Logo Design, IT Quiz and IT Meme saw a heartening par cipa on in terms of both,
numbers and enthusiasm. (March 03-04, 2022)

K.J.Somaiya College, Mumbai.
● Raj Kamal Go am of T.Y.B.Sc.(IT) secured the First Posi on for Logo Design in the 9th Annual Inter-collegiate Computer
Science Fes val organized by R.D. & S.H. Na onal College , Mumbai.
● Raj Kamal Go am from T.Y.B.Sc.(IT) was the First Runner Up in Syn Techxathon (Hackathon) Compe on organized by the
Department of Computer Science and Informa on Technology of R.D. Na onal College , Mumbai.
● Manmeet Singh of S.Y.B.Sc. (IT) won a medal and a trophy for the event 'Conquer' organized by NMIMS College, Mumbai.
Intra-college Level
● Sahil Chaurasia and Anishka Jain of F.Y.B.Sc. (IT) won the First Place in the 'Treasure Hunt' compe on at 'Technolu on'
organized by the Department.
● Sahil Chaurasia and Manmeet Singh of F.Y.B.Sc. (IT) won a Silver Medal in the 'Quiz Compe on' organized by the NSS
Commi ee of the College.
● Sahil Chaurasia of F.Y.B.Sc. (IT) ranked First in 'Sahi Pakde Hai', an event organized by the Rotaract Club of Hinduja College of
Commerce.
● Anishka Jain of F.Y.B.Sc. (IT) won the First Prize in the Essay Wri ng Compe on organized by the Cultural Commi ee of K.P.B.
Hinduja College of Commerce.
● Pranav Malap of F.Y. B.Sc. (IT) was the First Runner-Up in 'Explore', an event hosted under Hinduja Carnival 2022.
● Rohan Rathod of S.Y.B.Sc. (IT) won the First Place in the Carrom Tournament organized by the Gymkhana Commi ee of
Hinduja College.
