● An Orienta on Session on 'Digital Library Access' was organized for TYBFM and SYBFM students to guide them to use online
resources for learning. (July 01, 2021)
● An Orienta on Programme was organized for FYBFM students to give them an overview of the course structure, examina on
pa ern and the College code of conduct. (October 01, 2021)

● A Career Guidance Session was organized for BFM students in associa on with ICFAI Business School, Mumbai. The Guest
Speaker on the occasion was Dr. Vanita Joshi, an accomplished academician who is a Gold Medalist in PGDOM at IGNOU and a
registered Ph.D. Guide with Pacifice University, Rajasthan. (October 08, 2021)
● A Guest Lecture on 'Technical Analysis' by Mr. Prasanna Choudhary from Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts & Commerce,
Mumbai was organized for TYBFM students. (October 28, 2021)
● A Guest Lecture on 'Financial Deriva ves' by Dr. Riya Nathani, an expert in Wealth Management and an NSE cer fied
Financial, Commodi es and Deriva ves Market professional was organized for TYBFM students in which she enlightened
students about the latest developments in Deriva ve Markets and about Strategies and Models of Investment in Futures and
Op ons Markets. (October 30, 2021)
● The BFM Department celebrated an 'Investors Awareness Week' during which the Department liaised with the Financial
Planning Academy to organize a series of sessions for students of various SFC Courses, as well as staff members to create an
awareness about financial and investment ma ers. NISM Cer fied Advisors and Stock Exchange Members – Mr. Abhishek
Samal, Mr. Sagar Chedda, Mr. Ganesh Tripathi, Mr. Tanuj Poddar and Mr. Zaheer Sayed addressed the students of the BAMMC,
B.Sc.(IT), BIM, BTM, BFM and BAF courses. A session only for Non-teaching Staff Members of the College was conducted by
Mr. Tanuj Poddar. (November 24–27, 2021)

● Mr. Vishal Gada from Financial Planning Academy addressed the students of the Programme about the Add-on and
Cer fica on courses that can be pursued along with BFM. (January 15, 2022)
● An Online Boot Camp on 'Digital Marke ng and Ar ficial Intelligence' was conducted for TYBFM students with Resource
Persons from ISME School of Management and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Pra k Hinduja addressed students on the 'Latest Trends
in Digital Marke ng and Recent Developments and the Use of Ar ficial Intelligence in Financial and Other Industries.' Mr.
Omkar Pandharkame conducted a session on 'Entrepreneurial Finance' with specific reference to 'Entrepreneurship Post
Pandemic'. (January 21 - 22, 2022)
● The Department celebrated 'Global Money Week' with an online session on 'Build Your Future, Be Smart About Money'
conducted by Mr. Aditya Bhoyte, Content Developer of the Investor Educa on Department of NSDL and Mr. Harish Phalke, a
representa ve of the Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Limited. (March 30, 2022)
