• A Guest Lecture on 'Negotiation and Networking Skills' was delivered by Mr Omum Siddique, Sales Manager of the
Rustomjee Group. (September 13, 2022)
• A Financial Literacy Program – 'Personal Financing' was organised in association with SEBI by Dr. Ranu Jain (February 16,
2023)
• 'College to Corporates', a one-day workshop was conducted by Mr. Shyamal Aryal, an entrepreneur and an alumnus to make
students corporate ready. (March 25, 2023)
• A three-hour workshop on Grooming, Personality Development and Careers in Aviation was organised in collaboration with
Frankfinn Institute, to guide students about career avenues in airline sectors and airport management. (March 31, 2023)
Department Activities
• The Department celebrated World Bicycle Day on which students cycled from the College to Nariman Point. (June 03, 2022)
• A visit to Khar Danda was organised for students on the eve of Narali Pournima, to familiarize them with the traditions of the
Koli community who are the earliest inhabitants of Mumbai. A vlog about the visit was prepared to celebrate Vlogging Day.

• An Orientation Program for the First Year BTM students was arranged to acquaint them with the programme and various
extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. (August 22, 2022)
• BTM students celebrated Teachers' Day by arranging games and performances for their teachers. (September 05, 2022)
• A visit to BSE was organised for all students of the programme to acquaint them with finance related matters and the working
of Stock Exchange. (September 22, 2022)
• On World Tourism Day, Traverse Club, a Travel and Tourism Club initiated by the BTM Department arranged a heritage walk
to 'Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sanghralaya' and 'Asiatic Library' to learn more about the history and culture of areas of
the city. (September 27, 2022)
• Air Force Day was celebrated by the Department by arranging a screening of the film, 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' based
on the life story of Gunjan Saxena, one of the first lady pilots to fly in combat for the Indian Air Force. (October 08, 2022)
• BTM students arranged an online Christmas Eve celebration named X-MAS ZOOM for the Department. (December 22,
2022)
• A 10-day Industrial Visit to Shimla, Manali, Kasol and Chandigarh was organised by the Department to develop
interpersonal skills and know more about the hidden gems of Indian Tourism. (February 28 - March 10, 2023)
