• Field Visits

• A Field Visit to the RBI Museum was organized for the students of the Second and Third Year of the programme to give them a
hands-on experience of the evolution of currency. (August 13, 2022)

• A visit to the RBI headquarters was organised for FYBFM students in which they got an opportunity to interact with the
Finance, Economic and Foreign Exchange Departments of RBI. (September 08, 2022)

• All students of the programme were taken for a visit to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This visit enhanced their
knowledge and understanding about the operational mechanisms of financial markets. (September 22, 2022)

• A Field Visit to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was arranged students of the BFM course in which they were able to
interact with the President and other faculty members in the Global Money Week Celebrations. (October 04, 2022)

• An Industrial Visit to Delhi, Shimla, Manali and Chandigarh was organised to help students to understand operational and
financial mechanisms of the shawl making industry along with team building activities. (February 28 - March 08, 2023)

• Certificate Courses

• The BFM Department offered a Certificate Course on 'Basics of Investment' in collaboration with National Securities
Depository Limited (NSDL) as an educational initiative for students to make each of them a 'Prudent Investor'. Experts from
financial markets and institutions such as MCX and NSDL gave comprehensive insights to students of the First and Second
year of the programme. (August 2022)

• The Department offered a Certificate course titled 'Market Ka Eklavya' in collaboration with National Securities Depository
Limited (NSDL), MADE – US (Michigan Academy for Developing Entrepreneurs) and Poornatha for TYBFM students to
learn about Capital Markets from financial experts. (March 04, 2023)
