Webinars / Guest Lectures
• A webinar titled 'Investor Awareness Program' was organized to impart financial literacy to students of
the course. Mr. Atul Sathe, the speaker on the occasion introduced the students to various aspects of
investor interest such as IPOs, Rights of Shareholders, Mutual Funds etc. (January 12, 2021)

• A webinar on the 'Importance of Professional Ethics in Finance' was conducted by Mr. Shardul Shah.
The topics covered by him were ethics in financial services and financial market; the banking and
insurance sectors etc. (February 06, 2021)

Department Activities
• The Department along with Saarthi Foundation
organized a donation drive to help distressed
persons in the times of the lockdown. Food
packets, masks and sanitizers were distributed
to the needy at various places in the city.

Inversion (I -Club)
• A two-day intercollegiate event 'Inversion' was
organized by the Department to impart

financial literacy and enhance the acumen of
the participants. The event had many colleges
participating from all over Mumbai. The
participants tested their mettle in three major
activities namely: Quizzical Karma (a Quiz
Competition), Survival of the Smartest (A
Team-based Quiz Event), and Mock Stock-
