Orientation Programme
An Orientation Programme was organized for students of the First Year B. Com. (Accounting & Finance) course
wherein students were introduced to the Programme and were given an overview about the Examination Pattern,
Guest Lectures, Alumni Achievements, Placements and Career Opportunities available in the field of Accounting
and Finance (September 17, 2020).
Guest Lectures
• A session to brief students about the Add-on courses offered by the College was organized for the students. Mr.
Vishal Gada and Mr. Zaheer Sayed from Financial Planning Academy gave an insight to the students about the
various Certificate Courses that can be pursued along with BAF to facilitate career building opportunities.

• A Guest Lecture was organized on 'Introduction to Transfer Pricing – International Taxation' by Mr. Karnik
Kansara (Senior Manager KPMG). Students gained valuable insights about the various aspects of transfer
pricing, rules, process and penalties which were discussed at length with live examples. (January 30, 2021)
• A Guest Lecture by Mr. Mayank Sanghvi (Manager: Deloitte) on 'Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code' was
organized for the students. The lecture holistically covered the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. (February 27,
2021)
• A Practical Training Session on 'E-Filing of Income Tax Returns' was conducted by Ms. Minal Jaisinghani
(Advocate and Income Tax Consultant). An online demonstration of Income Tax websites helped students to
learn how to create an account for E-Filing of ITR and the steps to be followed for the E-Submission of ITR.

Boot Camp
A Boot Camp on 'Entrepreneurship Post Pandemic' was organized for students of T.Y.B.Com. (Accounting and
Finance) in association with ISME. Prof. Omkar Pandharkame from ISME discussed in detail about the business
opportunities created and made available during the pandemic and post pandemic period. The enlightening
session helped the students to understand and interpret what the post-pandemic era is going to bring to them and
what they can bring to it. (January 21, 2021)
Workshop
A workshop on 'Financial Literacy' was conducted by Dr. (Ms) Ranu Jain. The activity heightened awareness
about financial literacy among the attendees who understood the need for investment, financial planning,
managing income and cash flow; wealth building and maintaining a steady standard of living with proper
financial planning. (January 27, 2021)
FINCOUNTS
FINCOUNTS – A BAF Initiative was conducted for two days. Events such as Quizzards of Oz, The Defender's
Court, Be an Entrepreneur and The Fab Performer were organized. Students participated enthusiastically in the
events and learnt various management skills, besides enhancing their communication skills and building their
self-confidence while making presentations. (February 05 – 06, 2021)
