           The Alumni Association of the College in collaboration with the NSS Unit of the College conducted the following
           activities during the academic year:

           Blood Donation Camp

           A Blood Donation Camp was organized under the aegis of the Blood Bank of Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre.
           A team from the Hospital comprising of 2 doctors and assisting nurses conducted the Camp from 09:00 a.m. – 04:00
           p.m. in the College premises.
           The Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Manish Ajmera, Managing Director of the Ajmera Group of Companies. Mr.
           Janak Sanghvi, a former Municipal Corporator; an active Social Worker and an alumnus of the College along with
           NSS volunteers actively worked to persuade people to donate blood in the trying pandemic times.
           The Camp was executed with full COVID precautions such as sanitizing and maintaining social distance. Donors
           were given refreshments by the College and a Donor Card and Blood Donation Certificate by Jaslok Hospital. The
           Card will facilitate donors to get preference in procuring blood when in need and 01 unit of free blood whenever
           required.  A total of 54 units of blood was collected in the Camp. (April 07, 2021)


















           Webinar  on 'Gender Justice in India’
           The Alumni Association along with the NSS Unit of the College organized a webinar on 'Gender Justice in
           India' in order to raise awareness about the discrimination faced by women and the journey that they have
           traversed to become more empowered.
           The Resource Person on the occasion, Dr. Shahista Inamdar spoke about how the battle for Gender Justice has
           to be fought by all the genders collectively. She supported her talk with various case studies and examples such
           as the infamous Nirbhaya case; Laxmi Agarwal case; Air India V/s. Nargesh Mirza and Yusuf Abdul Aziz V/s/
           the State of Bombay case, to name a few. She also emphasized on how though it is indeed difficult for women
           to become empowered, they should work relentlessly.
           Almost 80 participants actively participated in the interactive webinar. The feedback gathered from the
           participants indicated that the session had been informative, enlightening and motivating. (April 30, 2021)
