Teachers' Day Celeberations
The Department celeberated Teachers' Day with a variety of
cultural programmes and students paid their respects to all
teachers by highlighting the contribution of teachers in their
lives. (September 05, 2021)

Guest lecture
Dr. Ranu Jain conducted a session on 'Financial Literacy' in
association with the Securities and Exchange Board of India
(SEBI). The session highlighted the significance of
becoming financially literate in contemporary times. (March 23, 2021)

Webinars
A webinar on 'Overview of the Insurance Sector' was conducted by Dr. B.S. Powdwal. In an interactive and
informative session he discussed the key features of the insurance industry such as types of insurance policies, the
importance of complying with rules and regulations in insurance and career prospects for students in the
insurance sector. (February 15, 2021)

The Department organized a webinar on 'Digital Payment
Literacy' by NPCI for all students of the College. A
presentation on digital payment mechanisms was shown to
students from various disciplines. The session also deliberated
on the need to secure one's sensitive financial information
while using digital payment platforms. (February 17, 2021)

A webinar on 'Professional Ethics in the Banking Sector' was organized to apprise students about ethical concerns in
the banking sector and the ways in which they can become vigilant, alert and honest bankers in future. Ms. Kanika
Kapahi, a senior banking professional was the Resource Person for the webinar. (February 24, 2021)
