• Guidance Lecture on 'Career Opportunities in Accounting and Finance
Sectors'
Mr. Archit Vakil, Vice President and APAC lead for 'Risk', was invited as the Guest
Speaker for a Lecture on 'Career Opportunities in Accounting and Finance Sectors.'
Mr. Vakil discussed the various job opportunities in the fields of Accounting and
Finance such as Auditing Taxation, Corporate Finance, Cash Flow Management,
Core Finance Job, Investment Banking, Asset Management Advisory, Fintech, Risk
and Portfolio Management and their required key competencies. The session
concluded with an interaction of the students with the Guest Speaker in which he
responded to queries and cleared doubts. (December 03, 2022)

• Visit to Garware Institute
The student-members of the DLLE Unit of the
College were taken to Garware Institute of Career
Education and Development for an academic visit
where Mr. Atul Rawal, a faculty member at the
institute addressed and interacted with the students
about 'Career Guidance and Skill-based Sectors and
Opportunities.' (December 23, 2022)

• Guidance Lecture on 'Cyber Security, Career Opportunities in IT and the Tech Industry’

Mr. Athesham Shaikh, Head - Innovation and
Incubation at QLUSTER, was invited to address
students. He gave students comprehensive
information about the key competencies and
qualifications required to excel in the field of IT
and even informed the students about the various
methods and software that can assist them in the
career selection. (January 04, 2023)

• Hill Plogging Drive
The DLLE Unit of the College in association with Mumbai
Ploggers took the initiative of Plogging Kharghar Hills for the
purpose of Nature conservation and to make our mountains and
hills free of garbage. The Founder of 'Mumbai Ploggers', Ms.
Rashmi Singh and her team guided the student-members in the
trekking and plogging activities. The students collected over 10
bags of plastic waste. (January 07, 2023)
