         •  Diwali Celebrations with the Less Privileged
         The DLLE Unit of the College in association with 'Share to Care Foundation' celebrated
         Diwali with the students of Sitaram Mill Compound School, Lower Parel. In keeping with the
         spirit of the festival which is all about sharing, giving and spreading happiness, the member-
         students distributed confectionary items to each student. Members even joined students in
         decorating diyas. (October 23, 2022)



















         •  Beach Clean-up Drives
         The DLLE Unit of the College in association with 'Beach Warriors', a voluntary organization initiated a Beach Clean-up Drives at
         two beaches in Mumbai – Dadar and Juhu. The objective behind the Drives was to provide helping hands to clean the beautiful
         coastline of  India and to generate an awareness among citizens to conserve Mother Nature and play their part in this great cause.
         More than 10bags of non-degradable waste were collected from the shores of the beaches and all plastic items that were collected
         were sent for recycling. (November 05, 2022)

















         •  Teaching Activity at Wadala and Mahalaxmi
         In  keeping  with  the  motto  of  the  DLLE  Department  i.e.
         'Reaching to the Unreached, the DLLE Unit of the College in
         collaboration  with  'Share  to  Care  Foundation'  organized  a
         teaching activity at Wadala and Mahalaxmi for children living
         in  slum  areas.  The  children  were  divided  into  groups
         according  to  their  age  and  the  class  in  which  they  were
         studying  and  were  given  instruction  in  an  open  space  in
         commonly used English language terms and in number work.
         The instruction was followed with a test to comprehend the
         impact of the activity. (November 20 & 27, 2022)
