        •  Bridge-on-Gap Guidance Sessions Series
        Bridge-on-Gap Guidance Sessions were conducted for First Year students who in their transition from Junior College/ School to
         Coordinator :
        Degree College are often underprepared. The objective of the Series was to make this transition smooth and equip learners coming

        from different academic backgrounds with basic knowledge of Management subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Law and
        Mathematics. (July 2022)


        •  Field visits
           •  Visit to IKEA: Students and faculty visited the mammoth IKEA store at Navi Mumbai to understand practical Logistics and
              Supply Chain Management  which are important concepts included in the curriculum. Students were divided into groups to
              analyse different aspects of Material Management, Warehouse Operations, Design Criteria, Handling Technology and
              Storage Plans. They were also familiarised with the warehousing strategies of the home furnishing giant. (July 23, 2023)
           •  Visit to National Stock Exchange (NSE) : Students and faculty from the Department visited the National Stock Exchange
              wherein they completed a 5-hour Certified Course, 'Investverse' in association with HDFC Mutual Funds. Students were
              acquainted with the various  ways and means to invest in the Stock Market and  to choose among various investment options.
              Among 180 student participants, 10 students  were awarded for their active participation. (September 29, 2022)
           •  Industrial Visit: About 100 students of the Department along with faculty members visited various places of industrial and
              historical importance in Manali and Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh. The visit to the strategic 'Atal Tunnel' was the main
              attraction of the trip in which students learnt about different processes involving Construction Management, Supply Chain
              Management and Road Transport Maintenance. The Industrial Visit even included visits to major tourist attractions such as
              Hadimba Devi Temple, Buddhist Monastery, Solang Valley and Khajjiyar. (March 07-14, 2023)
