• Seminar on Personality Development and Mental Health
• The Department of BMS conducted a Seminar for female students and staff on 'Personality Development and Mental Health'
in association with Whisper Ltd. The Guest Speaker, Sanyukta Keluskar, (Etiquette & Makeover Expert, Corporate Trainer
and a Train the Trainer (TTT) Coach) reiterated the importance of a healthy lifestyle and shared suggestions for leading a
stress-free life by doing regular exercise, meditation and yoga and following a healthy diet. The session also dwelt on the
importance of personality development for which the Resource Person shared '10 Fascinating Tips on Personality
Development and Mental Health'. (August 29, 2022)
• Guidance Lectures
• How to Make Winning Presentations: A Guidance Lecture on 'How to
Make Winning Presentations' was organized at IBS Powai. The
Resource Person, Mr. Vivek Sarda shared useful tips with students about
how to make effective Presentations and highlighted the importance of
body language and voice modulation and common mistakes made while
delivering Presentations. (September 23, 2022)
• Examinations Preparedness in a Post-Pandemic Context : The
Department organized 'Guidance Session Series' to hone the
examination preparedness of Final Year students. The objective of the
series of Guest Lectures was to provide additional support and inputs to
students to appear for their University Examinations which were
conducted offline after a gap of three years on account of the pandemic.
Students received guidance on aspects such as writing appropriate
answers, solving case studies and time management while writing
examinations. (November 2022)
• Panel Discussion on the Union Budget, 2023
• The Department organized a Panel Discussion on the 'Union Budget'. Industry experts CA
(Dr.) Shardul Shah and CA Hiral Shah were the Resource Persons. They explained the
process of preparing the Union Budget of India as well as the allocation of budgets to
different sectors. Over 200 students belonging to different programmes attended this
informative session. (February 08, 2023)
